Flat Out (Teaser)
A small town girl street races for pay-dirt when she's discovered by a legendary race car driver who trains her for a shot at her birthright.

In the vein of The Wrestler and The Fighter comes a gritty and visceral character-driven picture about a female street racer who beats the odds to fulfill a life once shattered by broken promises, betrayal, and death. Reagan Jaymes is an illegal street racer by night and spins a wrench at a local mechanics shop by day. It’s nothing to brag about, but the shop is hers, and despite tragically slow business, there’s nothing like the smell of shitty coffee and diesel to get her going. She’s not your typical tomboy; she lives hard and plays harder, and by playing, I mean pulling 3G’s around a hair-pin turn as she grinds a Standard H and puts all cylinders to the test. Most people would shy from leveling the gas pedal with 540 horses under the hood, but for Reagan, it’s just a Tuesday ... After her father died in a tragic racing accident, Reagan battles with getting behind the wheel again, until she’s forced to pay off her ol’ man’s debts or answer to a ruthless Vegas King Pin. And so once again she’s pulled into the supercharged world of street racing for her freedom, driven by an octane few can match. In street racing there are no second chances — no take backs when you’re barreling up a canyon at 200mph. Her best friend, Kyle helps her stay level-headed when it comes to picking her races. He’s been her biggest fan ever since they raced soapbox cars down neighborhood streets as kids, and one day Kyle books a drive for Rae that gets the attention of a legendary race car driver who offers to train her for bigger races — bigger purses. Meanwhile, in an act of desperation, Kyle gets mixed up with a rowdy group of racers known as “ Mad Max” and one fateful night, he loses his life in a car crash and Reagan vows to never take the line again. Pulling to the line meant more than the thrill of street racing, it meant you had real skin in the game, and her world crashed down. After downshifting and leaving a hard life lived in the rearview, she finds hope and love in a childhood friend who encourages her to ante back up, and so she does. And with that, Reagan goes on to drive as the ultimate under- dog in a prestigious Emirates desert race and not only takes the checkered flag, but wins her life back.
