Zahir
When Katherine Choong invites Eline Le Menestrel to climb Zahir, a legendary Swiss Alpine route, Eline agrees only if they by bike and train. Their quest becomes a test of endurance and friendship.

When Katherine Choong invites her friend Eline Le Menestrel to climb the multi-pitch route Zahir, a classic of the Swiss Alps and the hardest line on the Wendenstöcke, Eline agrees, but only under one condition: to travel exclusively using low-carbon mobility.

As the days go by on the wall, they soon realize how ambitious this project really is. The commitment of the route, the tiny holds, and the fatigue from cycling are a real struggle. Despite their motivation and enthusiasm, will Eline and Katherine find their Zahir?

Julien Nadiras
DIRECTOR

Originally from Paris, Julien Nadiras has been passionate about mountains and sports since early childhood, inspired by adventure books. He fulfills these passions through rock climbing in Fontainebleau and spending summers in the mountains, always with his camera slung over his shoulder. His interest in imagery gradually grew, leading him to pursue studies in audiovisual production to master the craft of filmmaking. Over the years, he has followed climbers on their “big wall” adventures and expanded his work to include filming mountain and ski expeditions.
