Under the blistering summer heat, he trains relentlessly alongside his teammates for the upcoming National Youth Championship. But for Qin, this tournament is more than just a game: it’s his chance to build a future through baseball. If he fails to perform, he must return to the orphanage.

Currently, Guan Yi is pursuing a Master’s degree in Visual Media through a joint program between the University of Greater Manchester and Zhejiang University of Media and Communications. This film is his final masters project. Guan Yi is also a faculty member in the Photography Department at the School of Television and Audiovisual Arts, Zhejiang University of Media and Communications. He is a Senior Engineer in Computer-Based Film and Television Production and serves as the head of the Virtual Reality Technology program. He is also a member of the “Advanced Imaging Committee” of the China Society of Film and Television Technology. Guan Yi specializes in virtual production and cinematography, conducting in-depth research and practical work in these fields. With nearly 30 years of frontline experience in the film and television industry, his works have received numerous national awards. He has guided students to achieve outstanding results in national-level academic competitions, particularly in virtual production, where their projects have won both domestic and international accolades.
